The Canadian Scholarship Trust Foundation, C.S.T. Consultants Inc., and their
affiliates, and licensed representatives (collectively, "CST") are committed
to preserving and safeguarding your right to privacy. As part of this commitment,
we want you to be fully aware of what happens to your personal information,
which we have in our possession. Accordingly, this Privacy Policy sets out the
manner in which we will collect, use, disclose and otherwise manage your personal

Collection Of Personal Information
The information collected about you is retained in a client record. You provide
most of this information to one of our licensed sales representatives when you
complete an application form to become a contributor to one of our Registered
Education Savings Plans ("RESP"). The personal information in your client record
includes your name, address and telephone number, social insurance number, birth
date, occupation, information related to your financial institution(s), and
your estimated family income and net worth. Your client record also includes
the name, address and social insurance number of the beneficiar(ies) designated
to receive benefits under your RESP. During the course of the administration
of your RESP other types of information such as tax records, school transcripts
and other documentation necessary to support claims or requests for various
types of payments and benefits will be collected.
We also may automatically collect general anonymous information related to
your use of our Web site, such as the date and time you visit the Web site and
the pages you visit on the Web site. In addition, we collect "cookie" information
from your browser to identify your computer and provide us with a record of
your visits to our Web site. This statistical information helps us to understand
how our Web site is used (e.g., which pages or sections are most popular and
when are the peak activity times), which assists us in planning for future improvements
to the site to better meet our visitors' needs.

We use your personal information for one or more of the following purposes:
- Identifying who you are;
- Establishing and administering your RESP;
- Providing you with statements, tax receipts and other information about
your RESP;
- Meeting legal and regulatory requirements; '
- Improving our service offerings;
- Improving our Website; and
- Offering products and services which may be of interest you. '
Disclosure Of Personal Information
We disclose detailed personal and financial information in your client record
to Human Resources and Social Development Canada (HRSDC), Canada Revenue Agency
and any other government body necessary for the purposes of administering your
RESP(s) and to otherwise comply with legal and regulatory requirements. We only
disclose your personal information to government agencies, which is reasonably
necessary for you to obtain the benefits of your RESP. Personal information
may be disclosed to our licensed representatives from time to time for the purposes
of administering your RESP. In addition, certain personal information in a client
record may be shared with the custodial parent of a beneficiary of an RESP,
and with third party service providers for purposes such as the preparation
and mailing of client statements, data processing and document storage, to enable
them to provide their services to us.
From time to time, we may send you information about products and services
offered by third parties that may be of interest to you, but we do not provide
your name and contact information to any third parties for marketing purposes.
In addition, we must provide your personal information in response to a search
warrant or other legally valid enquiry or order, or to an investigative body
in the case of a breach of an agreement or contravention of law, or as otherwise
required by law. We may also disclose personal information to assist us in collecting
a debt owed by you.
Except as set out above, we will not otherwise sell, transfer or disclose any
of your personal information to any third party without your knowledge and consent.
Security Of Personal Information
We will maintain your personal information in secure data storage to safeguard
it from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. We will maintain the strict
confidentiality of all personal information collected, and will only disclose
such information to employees and contractors of CST who require such information
for the purposes set out above. We will keep your personal information for as
long as it remains necessary or relevant for the purposes stated above or as
otherwise required by law. Even after you cease to be a CST client, we keep
some information about you on file in order to look up past transactions.
